The Jacksonville Jaguars didn't take very long to turn heel and make rookie Blake Bortles their starting quarterback. The team said in the preseason that Chad Henne would be taking snaps under center deep into the 2014 season, but less than three games in, Bortles got the nod.
And it didn't take long for him to score his first touchdowns.
The first was in the middle of the fourth quarter, a strike to fellow Allen Hurns over the middle who, let's face it, earned this one a little more than Bortles. But a first NFL touchdown is a first NFL touchdown.
