Blake Bortles had a 3-10 record as a starter during his rookie season. He threw more interceptions (17) than touchdown passes (11). He took a physical beating, getting sacked an NFL-high 55 times. And he would go through it all again because of the net benefits.

What to watch for in Jaguars vs. Giants preseason game -
The Jacksonville Jaguars will continue to evaluate the team's roster as the squad heads to the northeast on Saturday to face the New York Giants. Quarterback Blake Bortles will look to continue to show improvement as the team takes its first road trip of the 2015 campaign. He will be without trusty tight end target Julius Thomas and second year wide receiver Marqise Lee, but will have a plethora of other weapons to throw to on Saturday.
