Jaguars waive LB LaRoy Reynolds, sign WR Tony Washington to active roster

The Jaguars have made several roster moves ahead of Sunday's game against the Patriots in preparation of Marqise Lee's status being downgraded to "questionable".

The Jacksonville Jaguars have announced they've released special teams linebacker LaRoy Reynolds and signed second-year wide receiver Tony Washington to the 53-man roster.

Reynolds posted this on his Instagram earlier on Saturday afternoon, prompting most to assume he'd been released or traded.

Duval it's been real. Thanks for the opportunity

The reason for the roster move is that Marqise Lee's status has been downgraded from probable to questionable for Sunday. If it's as serious as letting a player go, he'll likely not play against the New England Patriots.

Reynolds played in all 16 games last year, making 22 tackles and recovering one fumble. He was undrafted coming out of the 2013 NFL Draft.
