Jaguars activate Sen'Derrick Marks from team's PUP list

He may not be ready to go on Week 1, but taking him off the PUP list means Sen'Derrick Marks will likely be ready to go before Week 7.

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

The Jacksonville Jaguars have activated Sen'Derrick Marks off their PUP list, meaning he'll most likely be able to play before the six-game absence he'd have had to go through were he still on the PUP list.

With Marks on the 53-man roster, but not playing the first few games, head coach Gus Bradley said Tyson Alualu, Michael Bennett, Roy Miller, and Jared Odrick would be rotating in at the 3-tech position that Marks normally fills.

In other defensive line news, the team believes pass rusher Andre Branch will be ready by Week 4 (which is why they didn't place him on the PUP list either) and Ziggy Hood has been placed on IR.
