Dwayne Gratz cut by Jaguars

NFL: International Series-Jacksonville Jaguars Practice Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

The Jacksonville Jaguars have activated third-year cornerback Aaron Colvin to the 53-man roster. To make room on the roster, the club released fourth-year cornerback Dwayne Gratz.

That means just Luke Joeckel, Johnathan Cyprien, and Denard Robinson are the only players remaining from the 2013 NFL Draft.

Colvin appeared in 22 games with 16 starts since being selected in the fourth round (114th overall) of the 2014 NFL Draft. His career totals include 98 tackles (81 solo), nine passes defensed, 4.0 sacks, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery.

The Jaguars also signed third-year safety Akeem Davis to the practice squad. A spot became open when safety Marqueston Huff was signed by Baltimore to their 53-man active roster off Jacksonville’s practice squad.
