Blake Bortles says he’s excited to play Derek Carr on Sunday -
Blake Bortles is looking forward to Week 7. The third-year quarterback helped lead his team to a comeback victory against the Chicago Bears in Week 6. Now he will have to out-duel draft classmate and Pro Bowl quarterback Derek Carr when the Jaguars host the Oakland Raiders on Sunday.

Jaguars defense doing just enough to win games -
Before the start of the regular season most believed the Jacksonville Jaguars offense was going to be what kept them in games until all of the moving parts on defense was able to gel together. The reality of the situation has shockingly been flipped, as it’s the Jaguars defense that has kept the Jaguars in all of their games but one, against the San Diego Chargers who just absolutely destroy the Cover-3, and it’s seemingly only getting better. There are still some things they need to truly become a “good” defense, but as it stands right now they’re “good enough”, which is all you need to win in the NFL.

Two teams that both had higher expectations this season will square off Sunday in a game critical for each of them as the Oakland Raiders (4-2) visit the Jacksonville Jaguars (2-3) in a near pick'em matchup. The Jaguars have won two in a row following an 0-3 start, while the Raiders have three wins by a combined five points and are coming off a brutal home loss to a divisional foe.
