Jacksonville Jaguars players were reportedly kept in the dark about offensive coordinator Greg Olson and his being fired until the news went public, according to Mike Kaye of First Coast News.
#Jaguars did not tell players of the offensive coordinator move. They are finding out as you are, per source.— Mike Kaye (@mike_e_kaye) October 29, 2016
Veteran player on not knowing about move "That's a general trend of NFL. You're part of a team and players are kept in dark."— Mike Kaye (@mike_e_kaye) October 29, 2016
Kaye went on to say that head coach Gus Bradley told his team that changes would be made but that because it was left vague as to what those changes would be players assumed it would be personnel, not coaching — especially after Bradley said he didn’t foresee any coaching changes after the loss on Thursday night to the Tennessee Titans.
