The Jacksonville Jaguars are traveling to play the Detroit Lions this week and if Vegas and their 6.5-point betting line has anything to say about it, this one won’t be close at all.
(Nor should it be, really...)
The #Lions enter Sunday's game against the #Jaguars as 6.5 point favorites- a margin they have not won by yet this year. #OnePride pic.twitter.com/GHtDRxouUm

The Jaguars haven’t done too poorly in covering betting lines this year, but they’re on the road and they’re going up against the most functional offense they’ve played this year — and probably the most talented quarterback they’ve seen in Matthew Stafford. If they gave up 27 points to Andrew Luck & Co. then I can definitely see them doing so against the Lions.
The over/under is set at 47.5 points, so Vegas is predicting a game along the lines of 27-20 in favor of the Lions.
That sounds about right.
