I’ve never been more sad in my life.

The Jacksonville Jaguars have placed their starting tight end Marcedes Lewis on season-ending injured reserve. Lewis, who has appeared in the fourth-most games in franchise history (154), sustained a right calf injury during the Jaguars’ Week 11 game at Detroit.

Lewis was on pace to have his best season since 2013. Through 11 games, he had 20 catches for 169 yards and a touchdown.

It’s sad to see a guy like Lewis who was giving everything he had left to the team, but we’ll always have you outrunning Josh Bynes, Marcedes. We’ll always have that.
