I want to start something new this week that I have dubbed the Tuesday Talk. Since Tuesday is kind of the ‘dead’ day between reviewing the last game and looking ahead to the next one, it seems like the perfect time to have a discussion about the Jaguars that goes beyond weekly game chat. This will divert from the typical article; I will post the topic or question for the week, and then hopefully you guys will discuss your thoughts in the comments section.
I’m hoping this will allow for some deeper thinking regarding the team overall, as well as allow us all to see some different perspectives. After all, a lot of what we discuss here is based in opinion, and I think it’s a good idea to get a sense for how others are thinking on a particular subject. As always, we ask that you remain civil and respectful towards each other. Also, if you feel that the topic or discussion is pointless, that’s fine. There’s no need to comment with that, you can just happily choose to ignore the discussion that week.
With that being said, it’s time to introduce this week’s topic. If you had to rank them in order from most to least, in terms of who is the most detrimental to the Jaguars, how would you rank the quarterback, head coach, and general manager? Think in terms of the overall state of affairs, not just this season. In other words, the Jaguars have only won 14 games under this current regime: who do you think is most responsible for this?
Again, the point of this is not to tell you what my opinion is on the subject. It’s to get a pulse for how the fanbase thinks about it. So what do you think? Is Gus Bradley the root of the issue? Is it Dave Caldwell? Or would the team be better if Blake Bortles wasn't the quarterback? If you think all three are about equal, that is also fine, but try to rank them if you can. Fire away!
