Power ranking all 14 Gus Bradley wins by how Gus Bradley they are

Our long national nightmare is over. The Jacksonville Jaguars let go of head coach Gus Bradley, ending a four-year reign of terror that saw just 14 victories and 48 losses — the latest coming at the hands of the Houston Texans and fellow impostor head coach Bill O’Brien.

Since 2013, Bradley walked away from the field of battle with just 14 wins, averaging 3.5 per year. In memory of such a storied career, we at Big Cat Country thought it best to remember each and every victory by ranking them on a scale of just how Gus Bradley they were.

14. October 19, 2014 vs. Cleveland Browns

The least Gus Bradley win ever. The Jaguars won by multiple scores (that only happened twice!) and the outcome was never in doubt. The running game was moving the chains, the defense made an impact with multiple turnovers — congrats, Gus Bradley, you’ll always have the Browns.

13. December 13, 2015 vs. Indianapolis Colts

Why is a 51-16 victory not the least Gus Bradley victory of his career? Because they needed Andre Branch to strip sack Matt Hasselbeck to turn the game around. But scoring the most points in a regular season game in franchise history makes this the second-least Gus Bradley win we’ve ever seen.

12. December 5, 2013 vs. Houston Texans

This is one of the least Gus Bradley victory of Gus Bradley’s career. The Jaguars never trailed, they were in control the entire game, it was at home, they held off a late rally by the Texans, and it made for the only winning streak during Bradley’s tenure. Chad Henne did only have 117 yards though, so there’s a slight amount of Gus Bradley in this one.

11. November 30, 2014 vs. New York Giants

This is the most Gus Bradley game of Tom Coughlin’s career, but it ranks pretty low for the actual Gus Bradley. It was the largest comeback victory in Jaguars history and it came against the most beloved coach in Jacksonville. Definitely not Gus Bradley.

10. September 20, 2015 vs. Miami Dolphins

All three phases of the game — offense, defense, and special teams -- were in sync. Blake Bortles probably showed as much command for the offense as he ever has in his career. The defense got a stop when they needed it, Jason Myers was kicking field goals of 50 yards or more... not Gus Bradley at all.

9. December 18, 2014 vs. Tennessee Titans

The Jaguars were in control most of the game, the best player on defense made the game-winning play, and Gus Bradley actually helped a player’s career with Sen’Derrick Marks securing a $600,000 sack bonus. Not very Gus Bradley.

8. November 24, 2013 at Houston Texans

A defensive slug fest that ended with a Ryan Davis interception. Again, the Jaguars were in control and the defensive stopped a late rally by the Texans. Gus Bradley this is not.

7. December 1, 2013 at Cleveland Browns

Now we’re getting into Gus Bradley territory. It’s lukewarm, but we’re here. Sorry, but an impossible throw and catch from Chad Henne to Cecil Shorts III to win the game gets this some Gus Bradley points. I mean... Shorts juked the guy and Henne placed the ball perfectly. Look at it. LOOK AT IT.

6. October 16, 2016 at Chicago Bears

This was moderately Gus Bradley except for the fact that his defense made a stop when it needed to. Blake Bortles playing like trash for all but the fourth quarter and the running game getting stuffed all day is typical Gus Bradley, but Jalen Ramsey making an impact on the game-winning play moves this a little higher.

5. November 10, 2013 at Tennessee Titans

The first win of Gus Bradley’s career came after eight losses. That’s Gus Bradley grit, gotdammit. And it came from Will Blackmon somehow taking the ball right out of Ryan Fitzpatrick’s hands. Go Jaguars.

4. November 19, 2015 vs. Tennessee Titans

A gross game where both offenses looked out of sync and a fluke special teams play by Rashad Greene sets up the win in a truly forgettable game? That’s our Gus Bradley!

3. October 25, 2015 vs. Buffalo Bills

We lead by a billion in the first half and then arm punt the lead away and only win because of some insane Superman catch by Allen Hurns? Okay. Also, this Toby Gerhart fail at the goal line might be the most Gus Bradley sequence in all of Gus Bradley’s existence.

2. October 2, 2016 vs. Indianapolis Colts

Another game in London, another game where Gus Bradley nearly snatched defeat out of the jaws of victory. Why is this ahead of the Bills game? Because the Jaguars didn’t come from behind. Almost losing a late lead is far more Gus Bradley than coming back and winning a game.

1. November 15, 2015 at Baltimore Ravens

This is, by far, the most Gus Bradley victory we’ve ever witnessed. Elvis Dumervil with the... well, whatever it was. And then Jason Myers with a kick of 50 or more yards. Gus Bradley was shirtless after this win.

Go Jaguars. Go America. Go Gus Bradley.
