Blake Bortles says 2016 season for Jacksonville Jaguars is "biggest nightmare ever" - ESPN.com
The 2016 season has been a disaster for Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles. He's still on pace to throw for more than 4,000 yards and 26 touchdowns, but he also has thrown 15 interceptions (including three that were returned for touchdowns) and lost four fumbles, and the Jaguars are just 2-10.
Blake Bortles has more career pick-sixes than career wins - BigCatCountry.com
With 7:34 left in the third quarter, the Jacksonville Jaguars were down 10-3 to the Denver Broncos. It was third-and-4 at midfield and Blake Bortles was pressured as he threw over the middle to Allen Robinson. It would have been a first down if Bortles didn't do what he'd done 10 other times in the past 40 games. He threw a pick-six interception.
Allen Robinson's frustrations boil over after loss to Denver Broncos - Jacksonville.com
A season’s worth of frustration with officials boiled over for Jaguars receiver Allen Robinson during and after Sunday’s 20-10 loss to the Denver Broncos. Robinson appeared to be held by Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib on a fourth-and-4 incompletion with 8:14 remaining in the game. Talib wasn’t called for the penalty, which would have resulted in a first down at the Broncos’ 33 (if the call was holding) or closer (if pass interference). Upset with the non-call, Robinson took off his helmet, which isn’t allowed when a player is on the field, to argue with the official. He was penalized 15 yards.
