Tuesday Talk: Do you want the Jaguars to win any more games?

Now that the Jaguars are officially eliminated from playoff contention, do you want to see any more wins?

It’s Tuesday, so that means it’s time for another Tuesday Talk! For those of you who missed out on our previous edition, here’s an introduction. Since Tuesday is kind of the ‘dead’ day between reviewing the last game and looking ahead to the next one, it seems like the perfect time to have a discussion about the Jaguars that goes beyond weekly game chat. This will divert from the typical article; I will post the topic or question for the week, and then hopefully you guys will discuss your thoughts in the comments section.

I’m hoping this will allow for some deeper thinking regarding the team overall, as well as allow us all to see some different perspectives. After all, a lot of what we discuss here is based in opinion, and I think it’s a good idea to get a sense for how others are thinking on a particular subject.

As always, we ask that you remain civil and respectful towards each other. Also, if you feel that the topic or discussion is pointless, that’s fine. There’s no need to comment with that, you can just happily choose to ignore the discussion that week.

I wish I had a more positive topic for this week, but given the Jaguars current state of affairs... well, let’s just say that’s not an easy task.

So here is this week’s question: Now that the Jaguars are officially eliminated from playoff contention, do you want to see them win any more games? Are you a die-hard who could never bring yourself to want anything other than a win? Are you hoping for them to lose-out to secure a better draft pick? Are you somewhere in between? As a follow up, aside from the results, what are you looking for in these final four games? Fire away!
