As the season continues to wind down, the focus of many Jacksonville Jaguars fans has shifted towards the 2017 NFL Draft. One of the top prospects on many draft boards is Texas A&M defensive end Myles Garrett. At this point in the process, and barring any unforeseen ridiculous event happening, Garrett is pretty much ensured to be a top five pick in the draft.
Naturally, many fans have expressed their interest in Garrett being the Jaguars pick if he were to fall to the spot they were in. A lot of folks salivate at the thought of Garrett playing opposite of Yannick Ngakoue, and bringing a much needed boost to the Jags pass rush. Apparently, Myles Garrett doesn't hate that idea either, according to Charlie Bernstein of Football Insiders.
Texas A & M DE Myles Garrett said IF he goes pro he wants to be a Top 3 pick and would love to play for the #Jaguars.

It is unclear if Garrett was asked about joining the Jaguars specifically, or if he offered this unprompted. If any clarity becomes available on this point, I will update the post to reflect it. But it’s a nice thing to hear a top prospect to say, either way.
As Bernstein notes, Garrett has yet to officially declare for the draft, but it would be a major shock if he didn’t. What are your thoughts? Is Garrett someone you’d love to see be the Jaguars selection should they get that chance?
