After 13 seasons in the NFL Rashean Mathis is retiring from the league. Mathis spent the last three seasons with the Detroit Lions but for the first 10 years of his pro career, he was a member of the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Jaguars sign cornerback Chance Casey to 90-man roster -
Casey, 5-11, 190, has appeared in four career NFL games since going undrafted out of Baylor in 2013. Casey spent his first season in 2013 on Oakland’s practice squad before being elevated to the 53-man active roster prior to the team’s Week 14 game against the Jets, in which he made his NFL debut.
