ESPN's Mel Kiper has released his second mock for the 2016 NFL Draft and the Jacksonville Jaguars are (again) taking Florida State defender Jalen Ramsey.
Kiper also had the Jaguars taking Ramsey in his first mock draft over a month ago.
5. Jacksonville Jaguars: Jalen Ramsey, DB, Florida State
The temptation to take Bosa here is probably strong, because both he and Ramsey would help defend the pass, one in coverage, the other by reducing the time any opposing QB can hang onto the ball. But with Dante Fowler Jr. coming back, they go with Ramsey, a gifted, versatile player who can play corner or safety.
At this point last year, Kiper had the Jaguars going back and forth between Leonard Williams and Dante Fowler at No. 3 overall and stuck with that prediction through the middle of April, so it would be surprising if he went a different way than Ramsey through the next few months.
