After the Jacksonville Jaguars traded away Josh Scobee to the Pittsburgh Steelers during the 2015 preseason, it was assumed that Jason Myers was the future and there'd be no turning back from that.
But Scobee said on 1010XL on Tuesday evening that the Jaguars were one of the teams that contacted him after he was released by Pittsburgh.
Scobee on @1010XL: the Jags were 1 of 3 teams who called him after he left Pittsburgh when their kickers had bad weeks. Interesting.

That all lines up with a Jason La Canfora report from right after Scobee was released.
State of NFL kicking may be worse than even OL play. 3 teams already reached out to Josh Scobee who will need few weeks to heal quad strain

The La Canfora tweet is hours after a Week 4 loss to the Indianapolis Colts when Myers missed two kicks -- one at the end of regulation and one in overtime -- that would have won the game for the Jaguars.
According to Scobee, the Jaguars contacted him at times throughout the year, but there was never going to be a chance to go back to Jacksonville because of his injury. He added he's now moving on with other teams.
