2016 NFL free agency: Jets players who could be targeted by Jaguars

The Jaguars need a competent running back to pair with T.J. Yeldon. The Jets have three running backs hitting free agency. Are any of them fits?

Robert Deutsch-USA TODAY Sports

The Jacksonville Jaguars need a tag team partner for T.J. Yeldon and the New York jets have three running backs hitting free agency this year. Are any of them fits for Jacksonville? Oh, and some of those defensive linemen look pretty enticing.

Muhammad Wilkerson is obviously the gem of this free agency class and he'll turn 27 right before the season opener. I don't know where he plays, but then again I don't really care. Go get good players and then figure out a scheme with what you have. Same goes with Damon Harrison, although he would occupy the spot that Roy Miller and Abry Jones played very well last year.

Stevan Ridley isn't any good. He's just a name you're familiar with, so we'll get him out of contention right now. Chris Ivory was the feature back last year with the Jets and he may not want a reduced role. Plus, the Jets may not want to get rid of him. Bilal Powell fits the role well, and he's the pass-catching option of the two, so he could do well as Yeldon's partner in the backfield.
