Jacksonville Jaguars 2016 NFL free agency live blog: News, rumors, and more

We're at the end of the first week of free agency. Will the Jaguars be able to lock up the rest of their targets?

Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports

The Jacksonville Jaguars have had more positives than negatives when it comes to free agency this year. They started with the first big signing around the league, getting defensive lineman Malik Jackson on Tuesday afternoon. They then got running back Chris Ivory, punter Brad Nortman, and safety Tashaun Gipson.

They missed out on their top target for Wednesday in defensive lineman Olivier Vernon, but they're going hard after their next top two targets in pass rusher Robert Ayers and cornerback Prince Amukamara. If those two players sign contracts, it could very well be the best free agency class of general manager Dave Caldwell's career.

How will the Jaguars do with largely second-tier free agents left? Keep this live blog bookmarked and we'll bring you all the Jaguars-related news, rumors, and signings.
