The Arizona Cardinals have reportedly acquired New England Patriots defensive end Chandler Jones in a trade that involves their second-round pick and offensive lineman Jonathan Cooper, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Oh, you mean trading for players you need can actually happen? Weird.
Acquiring Jones is something a few of us advocated for earlier in the week during a round table discussion about what the Jacksonville Jaguars should do to address their pass rush problems.
The Cardinals were in desperate need of a pass rusher and they’ll get a very good one in Jones. In 2015, Jones started 15 games and finished the season with 44 tackles with a career-high 12.5 sacks. He also had four forced fumbles, two passes defended, and his first career interception, earning a Pro Bowl spot for the first time.
