The NFL has seen a wave of trades through the first week of the league year. While the narrative has typically been that the NFL pales in comparison to the likes of the NBA and MLB in the spirit of wheeling and dealing, that really hasn't been the case so far this offseason. The Philadelphia Eagles have completed three trades, dropping salaries like coins at an arcade. The New England Patriots made back-to-back blockbuster deals on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Kelvin Beachum's contract puts Luke Joeckel on notice -
The Jacksonville Jaguars agreed to terms on a two-year deal with veteran free agent offensive lineman Kelvin Beachum on Tuesday afternoon, a day after the team begged him not to get on a flight back to Pittsburgh. The full details of Beachum's contract aren't available yet, but according to Adam Schefter of ESPN, we do know that the first year of the deal doesn't appear to simply be backup money.

Andre Branch signs with Miami Dolphins -
e Miami Dolphins continue to fortify a defensive line that struggled last season, and lost two starters in free agency this offseason. A week after signing Pro Bowl pass rusher Mario Williams and losing Olivier Vernon and Derrick Shelby in free agency, the Dolphins added Andre Branch, a four-year veteran who has started 12 games and contributed 14 sacks in his NFL career.
