ESPN's Todd McShay releases third mock draft: Jaguars (again) pick Jalen Ramsey

Todd McShay is 3-for-3 on having the Jaguars select defender Jalen Ramsey with the No. 5 overall pick in his mock drafts, but a new player sneaks into the top-five.

ESPN's Todd McShay has released his third mock draft of 2016 and the Jacksonville Jaguars are selecting (for the third time in a row) Florida State standout Jalen Ramsey with the No. 5 overall pick. McShay's third mock draft comes after Ramsey had one of the best performances at the NFL Scouting Combine this week, not just for a defensive back but for any player period.

5. Jacksonville Jaguars: Jalen Ramsey, DB, Florida State

The Jaguars have needs at both corner and safety. The solution? Draft Ramsey and figure out which hole you want him to plug. The Florida State product has the lateral quickness and natural athleticism to play cornerback in the NFL, and the frame (6-foot-1, 209 pounds), top-end speed (4.41 40-yard dash) and run-stuffing ability to excel at safety. He tested off the charts in Indy and is one of the safest prospects in this draft.

As far as the other AFC South teams go, McShay believes the Tennessee Titans will grab offensive lineman Laremy Tunsil, the Indianapolis Colts will select linebacker Leonard Floyd, and the Houston Texans will pick defensive lineman Vernon Butler.

The surprise of the top-five? DeForest Buckner to the San Diego Chargers with the No. 3 overall pick. He had a solid result at the Combine, but the No. 3 pick? With Joey Bosa and Jalen Ramsey still on the board? Nah.
