Monte Kiffin joins Jacksonville Jaguars coaching staff -
The Jacksonville Jaguars have added a legendary coach to their defensive staff. Longtime NFL defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin has joined the team as a defensive assistant, as first reported by First Coast News. He previously served as a consultant in the team's search for a new defensive coordinator following the departure of Bob Babich this offseason.

The Jaguars defense isn't built... and it won't be for a while -
The Jacksonville Jaguars have a bad defense. When a defense ranks 31st overall in points and 24th overall in yards, there is no other way to spin it. General manager Dave Caldwell is trying to change that this year. The 2016 defensive free agent signings include three new defensive starters: Malik Jackson, Tashaun Gipson, and Prince Amukamara.

O-Zone: True visionary -
There indeed was a hallelujah chorus early this week among some fans when the Jaguars signed Kelvin Beachum as an unrestricted free agent from the Pittsburgh Steelers. And this may well be a significant upgrade … if Beachum indeed is a Top 10-tier left tackle, if he indeed is healthy and if he indeed wins the job over Joeckel.
