The 2016 NFL free agency period began on Monday at 12pm EST with the first-ever "legal tampering period" in league history and the Jacksonville Jaguars were in about as many rumors as they could be.
Just how many rumors were the Jaguars tied to yesterday? Check out our Day 1 blog.
What's the tampering period? Teams cannot sign an NFL contract with a player, execute an agreement in principle or other similar document, announce that an agreement in principle or other similar agreement has been reached, or reach agreement on any undisclosed terms. Also, teams cannot make travel arrangements with a prospective free agent before the launch of free agency, at 4:00 p.m. EST on Wednesday.
But they can talk with any player they choose, discuss unofficial contract terms, and anything else. Just no contracts.
Follow along here for all the Jaguars-related free agency news, rumors, and more.
