The Jacksonville Jaguars have picked Arkansas quarterback Brandon Allen in the sixth round. Allen is a project, not someone who's going to be on Blake Bortles' heels or even looking to supplant Chad Henne as the primary backup quarterback.

Allen's 64 touchdowns is an Arkansas record and he was completing nearly 66% of his passes in 2015 for his senior season. That comes after a very bad freshman year, a slightly better sophomore year, and a slightly better junior year after that. He's shown the ability to improve, which makes him an attractive prospect in the later rounds. He's also done well protecting the football and leading a run-heavy offense at Arkansas, so having an emergency guy who can do that is always good.
It wasn't a pick for a guy who could break into the starting lineup, but what grade are you giving the Jaguars for picking Arkansas quarterback Brandon Allen in the sixth round?
