Colvin tweeted this apology on the subject:
I apologize to my family, my teammates & coaches and the fans. I will not let this define me & I will overcome this pic.twitter.com/cZ60Rwml3Q

This obviously throws a wrench in the gears for the Jaguars a little bit in 2016, as Colvin was expected to kick inside back to the nickel corner position where he had been a playmaker in the past, showing the ability to rush the quarterback and create turnovers.
This will move the cornerback need up a notch or two for the team headed into the NFL Draft.
