The Jacksonville Jaguars announced they have have agreed to terms with nine undrafted rookie free agents. The team said it's expected to host the following nine undrafted rookie free agents, along with Jacksonville’s seven draft selections, at a rookie orientation at the team facility at EverBank Field from May 5-7.
Name | Position | Height | Weight | Age | School |
Briean Boddy-Calhoun | CB | 5-11 | 190 | 23 | Minnesota |
Braedon Bowman | TE | 6-4 | 240 | 22 | South Alabama |
Rashod Hill | OT | 6-6 | 309 | 24 | Southern Miss |
Mike Hilton | CB | 5-9 | 184 | 22 | Mississippi |
Jaden Oberkrom | K | 6-3 | 187 | 22 | Texas Christian |
Jamal Robinson | WR | 6-4 | 205 | 23 | Louisiana-Lafayette |
Pearce Slater | OT | 6-7 | 335 | 22 | San Diego State |
Jarrod Wilson | S | 6-2 | 210 | 22 | Michigan |
Max Wittek | QB | 6-4 | 236 | 22 | Hawaii |
Of all the names, it will be interesting to see if Jaden Oberkrom can provide any sort of competition for current kicker Jason Myers, or if Braedon Bowman can earn a spot after the Jaguars left the tight end position relatively untouched in free agency and the draft. If either Rashod Hill or Pearce Slater can move inside and provide help at guard or center, they make themselves more valuable, but that's unlikely. And with several members of the secondary on the roster bubble, can Briean Boddy-Calhoun, Mike Hilton, or Jarrod Wilson stand out over the next few months?
