Want to join Big Cat Country as a contributor?

Big Cat Country is celebrating its 10th birthday this year this summer and with the Jacksonville Jaguars looking to turn a corner this season (maybe? hopefully? pls?) we're looking to grow our team.

What we want in writers

• Extensive knowledge of the Jaguars, the NFL and football in general
• Strong writing skills (excellent grammar and spelling are a must)
• Ability to commit to at least 2-3 posts per week during the season
• Previous writing experience desired

Other information

As of right now, these are unpaid positions. That could always change down the road though, and if you're looking for experience and exposure, we can provide both of those things. I personally started as an unpaid contributor four years ago and it's led to several paid opportunities here at SB Nation as well as helped me network my way into additional paid writing and editing jobs over the years, both in sports and other fields.

As someone who has personally benefited from Big Cat Country, I can say with confidence that if you devote enough time and effort to this site, you will get rewarded in one way or another.
