After two seasons of playing nearly every spot in the Jacksonville secondary, Thompson has now settled in at free safety. With the Jaguars putting more emphasis on coverage and speed at the position, the former cornerback and high school track star seemed like an ideal fit. The move to free safety has added stability to Thompson's role on the team.
