Jacksonville Jaguars linebacker Dan Skuta was arrested in the early morning of Sunday, June 19th on misdemeanor battery charges, according to the Orange County Clerk of Courts website.
According to the police report, Skuta had an altercation with a female after asking her for her phone number. Skuta allegedly approached a female and began flirting and then asked for her phone number and was denied. A verbal altercation ensued between the two which escalated to a physical altercation when Skuta allegedly pushed the female's face with an open hand, causing her head to hit a window.
Skuta was arrested and taken to the booking office without incident.
The Jaguars released the following statement when asked about the incident:

Skuta was originally signed by the Jacksonville Jaguars last offseason, getting a 5-year, $20 million deal with $8.1 million guaranteed.
