Jalen Ramsey is highest rated rookie in Madden NFL 17

New, comments

Faster than Ezekiel Elliott and a quicker acceleration than Corey Coleman. Oh yes.

Jacksonville Jaguars rookie cornerback Jalen Ramsey is the highest-rated rookie in Madden NFL 17.

Electronic Arts released their top-10 list of rookies from this year's game and the former Florida State standout tops the list. Also making the list is Ezekiel Elliott, Ronnie Stanley, and... Roberto Aguayo?

"Ramsey brings explosiveness to the Jaguars' secondary and has the athletic ability to match-up against the leagues' best receivers," Electronic Arts wrote. "With ratings of 85 man coverage and 84 zone coverage, he can play all downs and match up nicely in a variety of different defensive schemes. His 93 jump rating will play a big role against the aggressive nature of offensive passing schemes."

The top 10 rookies from Madden NFL 17

1. Jalen Ramsey, Jaguars

2. Ezekiel Elliott, Cowboys

3. Ronnie Stanley, Ravens

4. Roberto Aguayo, Buccaneers

5. Joey Bosa, Chargers

6. Laremy Tunsil, Dolphins

7. Jack Conklin, Titans

8. Corey Coleman, Browns

9. Hunter Henry, Chargers

10. DeForest Buckner, 49ers

What do you think? Is Jalen Ramsey the best rookie from this year's class? Should Myles Jack have squeaked in at the bottom of the list?
