The Titans got off to a fast start in the preseason opener against the Chargers. There were very few things to be critical about from that game. That always makes for an easy second week for the fans and around St. Thomas Sports Park. Let's check in and see how the rookie performed in their first game action:

Yesterday, Bill O'Brien informed the media that Jadeveon Clowney did not make the trip with the Texans to San Francisco with the team. The rationale for Clowney staying in Houston was for him to rest and get additional treatment with the training staff.

Scott Tolzien, Stephen Morris competing for Colts’ backup quarterback spot - Stampede Blue
In Saturday night’s preseason opener, it was obvious that Scott Tolzien struggled at quarterback. On the Colts’ first five drives, Tolzien completed just 4 of 11 passes for 19 yards. He improved for the final two drives of the first half, but it was a rough outing overall - even head coach Chuck Pagano noticed it.

Pat McAfee randomly drug tested after 67-yard punt - Stampede Blue
On Saturday, Colts punter Pat McAfee was once again the team’s best player. In Indy’s preseason debut against the Bills, McAfee punted five times for an average of 58.6 yards per punt, with one punt being pinned inside the 20 yard line and two going for touchbacks. McAfee’s longest punt of the day was an impressive 67-yard kick.
