The Jacksonville Jaguars are nine (single digits!) days away from their preseason opener against the New York Jets and that means we're counting down the top plays of last season.
Yesterday was a lot of patience by Blake Bortles and great effort by Allen Hurns to find a soft spot in the Indianapolis Colts coverage for a touchdown.
Today's top play?
No. 9: Aaron Colvin and Chris Clemons vs. E.J. Manuel
Aaron Colvin was very, very good at blitzing last year. His four sacks was second-best on the team behind only Jared Odrick and he had a handful of pressures on top of that. Chris Clemons, however, was not very good at blitzing. His three sacks put him in the bottom half of a team that ranked near the bottom in sacks last year.
But the first half of the game against the Buffalo Bills was a feeding frenzy for the defense and even a guy like Clemons could have his day.
Does Colvin's strip-sack and Clemons' fumble recovery and touchdown deserve to be in the top-25 list? Let us know in the comments below!
