With the first full day of pads going on for the Jacksonville Jaguars, it's likely that you're going to see some scuffles and perhaps even an actual fight. That tends to happen when the pads go on because you can really hit and then the competitiveness and anger can take over and get the best of you. It's not necessarily a bad thing and can sometimes be a good thing.
There are always guys on the team you probably wouldn't get into a fight with and ESPN's Mike DiRocco decided to ask some players who they wouldn't want to fight on their own team.
The overwhelming favorites? Roy Miller and Jermey Parnell.
"I really wouldn't want to fight Jeremy Parnell. I don't want to mess with that dude," Jaguars defensive end Danter Fowler, Jr. told DiRocco. "He's mean and nasty, and that's the reason I like going against him a lot. He sharpens me up, and he's going to make me into a very dominant defensive end. I'm not going to fight him. If he tries to fight me I'm not scared to say, 'I'm not going to fight you, bro.'"
"Big Roy. Big Roy's a nice guy, but when he flips it's like the whole practice gets quiet," Jaguars second-year offensive lineman A.J. Cann told DiRocco. "Last year we were doing walk-through and somebody went too hard, and the whole practice got quiet because he was yelling. Roy's one of those guys you don't want to piss him off. He's a quiet, cool guy, but those are the guys whose buttons you don't want to push."
Though, the best quote probably came from Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles, who said he'd "beat everyone's ass but Roy Miller".
He was kidding, of course.
