53-man Jaguars roster prediction after Week 3 vs. Bengals

It's cut day and the Jaguars need to get down to 75 players. Who do we think eventually makes the 53-man roster by preseason's end?

Reinhold Matay-USA TODAY Sports

The Jacksonville Jaguars are officially finished with three preseason games and while the upcoming Week 4 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons is later this week, it won't tell us much about the top end of the roster as that's a game reserved mainly for, well, the reserves.

As far as how the roster could look for Week 1 against the Green Bay Packers, don't be surprised if the roster looks exactly how you think it will. In the fourth year of a rebuild there should be very few surprises as to who the best 53 guys are. If anything, we may see a surprise at linebacker or a backup offensive lineman, but that's about it.

Mackenzy Bernadeau is back on the list because Luke Joeckel was horrendous at guard and they'll probably need to keep an extra one on during the early part of the season while they figure that out. And Demetrius McCray is nowhere near this 53-man roster because of this.

Update: Jeff Linkenbach was put on injured reserve on Monday. He was replaced by Rashod Hill.
