The Jacksonville Jaguars are eight days away from their preseason opener against the New York Jets and that means we're counting down the top plays of last season.
Yesterday was Aaron Colvin and Chris Clemons combining for a touchdown against E.J. Manuel and the Buffalo Bills in London.
Today's top play?
No. 8: Andre Branch changes the game vs. Colts
Andre Branch was not good in Jacksonville, but he flashed moments of brilliance as any mediocre player given hundreds and hundreds of opportunities. This is one of those times.
With the Jaguars down to the Colts 13-3 and halftime nearing, it looked like 62-year-old Matt Hasselbeck might actually sweep the Jaguars. And then Andre Branch happened. This wasn't mop up duty or someone else's sack that Branch piggy backed on... this was all Branch. He got around the right tackle, fought through a block in the back, and reached out to force a fumble on Hasselbeck that would turn into a touchdown that ultimately turned the entire game around.
Does Andre Branch's strip, sack, recovery, and touchdown deserve to be in the top-25 list? Let us know in the comments below!
