Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Julius Thomas has less-than-stellar preseason -
A year ago at this time, Jacksonville Jaguars fans were bemoaning the fact that multi-talented tight end Julius Thomas was missing not only preseason contests due to a broken hand, but that he would likely miss the first four games of the regular season as well.

Kelvin Beachum named the starting left tackle -
The Jacksonville Jaguars confirmed on Tuesday that free agent signing Kelvin Beachum will be the team's starting left tackle against the Green Bay Packers for Week 1 of the regular season. This means that, and the team also confirmed, that Luke Joeckel will move inside to be the team's starting left guard at least for the first few weeks of the season.

Earl Wolff waived by Jaguars in first wave of cuts -
Hoke County High School alum Earl Wolff, a safety who escaped a kidnapping in Fayetteville in February, was waived with an injury designation by the Jacksonville Jaguars on Tuesday. The former Eagles fifth-round pick out of N.C. State sustained a hamstring injury after playing just three snaps in Jacksonville's preseason victory over Cincinnati on Sunday.
