The Jacksonville Jaguars are seven days (one week!) away from their preseason opener against the New York Jets and that means we're counting down the top plays of last season.
Yesterday was Andre Branch changing the tide of the game with a touchdown against the Indianapolis Colts and leading to our first 50-burger in regular season history.
Today's top play?
No. 7: Bortles with a touchdown to Hurns through the smallest of windows
When we talk about Blake Bortles being a "gunslinger" this is exactly what we're talking about. He's got a strong arm, he relies on instinct and raw athleticism, and he makes high-risk/high-reward throws. And this was either going to be an 80-yard touchdown or a likely pick-six for the Colts. Lucky for the Jaguars, this was the former and not the latter.
Does Blake Bortles' touchdown to Allen Hurns against the Colts deserve to be in the top-25 list? Let us know in the comments below!
