Jacksonville Jaguars DE Jared Odrick recalls almost being drafted by Atlanta Falcons -
While Thursday night will serve as a homecoming for free safety Peyton Thompson and wide receiver Shane Wynn, Jaguars players who started their careers with the Atlanta Falcons - there could have been a much bigger return had things gone a different way during the 2010 NFL Draft. Jaguars defensive end Jared Odrick, sat at a table in New York City waiting for his name to be called during a draft that included players such as Gerald McCoy, Ndamukong Suh and Eric Berry. That night, Odrick's agent at the time, Peter Schaffer, received a phone call from the Falcons just ahead of Atlanta's 19th overall pick.
