According to Jaguars Senior Manager of Public Relations Tad Dickman, Ivory was admitted to the hospital on Saturday night with a "general medical issue". NFL Network's Ian Rapaport is reporting that the hospital visit was unrelated to the calf injury he sustained earlier this week in practice and that his availability for Week 2 will depend on what he and the team learn in the next few days.
Ivory was supposed to be a key piece in the Jaguars offensive attack against the Packers, but now our thoughts turn to hoping he makes a full recovery.
UPDATE: Dickman gives us some encouraging news about Ivory.
Chris Ivory is doing well and is expected to be released from the hospital in the next day or two.

More info will be provided at that time.
We'll update as we learn more about Ivory's injury and when he'll be available for the Jaguars.
