Gus Bradley to follow Anthony Lynn, per report

Wherever Anthony Lynn lands a head coaching job, look for Gus Bradley to join him.

For those who might still be feeling bad for Gus Bradley, chin up; he may not be out of a job for much longer. According to Adam Schefter, Bradley is looking to join one of the hot names for head coaching vacancies.

This makes some sense, considering Lynn has an offensive background, and Bradley could join him as defensive coordinator. It has also been reported by numerous outlets that Lynn is the favorite to remain in Buffalo as their head coach moving forward, so it looks like the Bills might be trading in Rob Ryan for Gus Bradley.

Would Bradley be a good fit for the Bills, presumably as defensive coordinator? It’s difficult to say. In his four years here with the Jaguars, his defenses were never very good until this season, where they have seen some improvements. A lot of that is attributed to a lack of talent on the defensive side of the ball, but it’s something that’s going to be considered by other teams. Bradley’s defenses in Seattle flourished, but there have been questions for years as to how much of that should be attributed to Bradley himself. The Seahawks continued to have elite defenses once Bradley left, so again, it’s something that teams/coaches will have to consider.

However, it sounds like Lynn is a believer in Bradley, so he might be back coaching again before we know it.
