The Jacksonville Jaguars are reportedly hosting Chip Kelly as they search for their offensive coordinator, according to Hays Carlyon of GridironNews.com.

It was reported over the weekend that the Jaguars met with Kelly about their vacant head coaching position, but an offensive coordinator spot might be what the team had in mind all along.
Kelly was most recently the head coach of the San Francisco 49ers where he went 2-14 last year and was fired after one season on the job. Before that he was the head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles from 2013-2015 and fired after two 10-6 seasons and then a 7-9 regression.
New Jaguars VP of Football Operations Tom Coughlin has ties to Kelly. When Coughlin was head coach of the New York Giants, he tried to hire Kelly as a quality control coach in 2006 when he was still the offensive coordinator at the University of New Hampshire, but Kelly declined, instead taking an offensive coordinator position with the University of Oregon.
