While we all hold our breaths waiting on an announcement about who the Jaguars offensive coordinator will be, it seems the team is busy making other coaching hires, according to Alex Marvez.
Source tells @sn_nfl that @Jaguars expected to add Clemson assistant Marion Hobby to their coaching staff. Expected to coach on d-line

If you remember, Marvez was the one who originally reported Tyrone Wheatley to the Jaguars, so he definitely has some credibility on these reports. As Marvez notes, Marion Hobby hails from Clemson, where he has been serving as the Tigers’ as co-defensive coordinator and defensive ends coach. Before those roles, Hobby was at Duke, serving as their assistant head coach, defensive coordinator, and defensive line coach. Prior to that, Hobby was the New Orleans Saints defensive ends coach for two years, and was actually at Clemson coaching defensive ends for one season. For the five years prior to that, Hobby was the defensive line coach for Ole Miss.
Looking at his experience, it’s pretty easy to see why the Jaguars would covet Hobby to coach their defensive line. It should also be noted that the time that Hobby spent coaching the Saints was the same time that Doug Marrone was on their staff, so there is a connection there. The hire also continues this regime’s apparent preference in championship winning experience, as Clemson obviously just won the National Championship.
