The 2017 Senior Bowl will kick off on Saturday, January 28th at 2:30 pm ET in Mobile, Alabama and even though the Jacksonville Jaguars aren’t coaching for the eleventeenth time, there are still plenty of prospects to watch for.
Clemson quarterback DeShaun Watson was criticized for not accepting the Cleveland Browns’ personal invite, but despite Watson’s absence, there still will be plenty of talent under center, with Josh Dobbs (Tennessee), Davis Webb (Cal) and Jamaal Williams (BYU) playing in the game.
A few of the other notable players to participate Saturday include tight end Jeremy Sprinkle(Arkansas), tight end O.J. Howard (Alabama), running back Donnel Pumphrey (SD State), and offensive lineman Forrest Lamp (W. Kentucky).
On defense, teams will be paying attention to players like cornerback Desmond King (Iowa) and linebacker Ben Boulware (Clemson). LSU’s Tre’Davious White was one of several talented cornerbacks trying to show off his skills this weekend, but he’ll sit out due to an ankle injury.
