Coming off another disappointing home loss, the Jacksonville Jaguars head on the road this week to take on AFC South foe, the Indianapolis Colts. The Colts are coming off a Monday Night Football loss to the Tennessee Titans and currently sit in last place in the division with a 2-4 record. It’s possible they’ll stay at the bottom of the division on Sunday, at least judging by the opening betting line.

The Jaguars open as three-point road favorites, the second week in a row the team has been favored and the second time Jacksonville has been a road favorite during the 2017 season. Coming off seasons where the team wasn’t favored in any of their 16 games, it’s weird that the Jaguars have been favored in nearly half their games, albeit so far they’re 0-2 in games they are favored.

The Jaguars appear to match up well with the Colts, who appear to be a bit of a mess. Quarterback Jacoby Brissett has done an admirable job keeping the team treading water offensively, especially considering he was thrust into the starting job a week after being acquired in a trade from the New England Patriots. The Jaguars pass defense should be able to stifle the Colts passing game, however, but they’ll need to shore up some of their run defense.
