Jacksonville Jaguars Daily: Shad Khan says Donald Trump ‘jealous’ of NFL amid failure to buy team

NFL: NFL Owners Meetings Catalina Fragoso-USA TODAY Sports

Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shad Khan says Donald Trump is “jealous” of the NFL amid his own failure to buy a team -
Shad Khan thinks he knows the real reason Donald Trump is so obsessed with how the NFL does business.

"This is a very personal issue with him," Khan, the Jacksonville Jaguars owner, told USA TODAY Sports on Wednesday as NFL owners wrapped up two days of meetings in Lower Manhattan.

Trump, whose bid to buy the Buffalo Bills in 2014 failed, slammed one of his favorite punching bags again Wednesday, tweeting that the NFL is demonstrating “total disrespect” for the nation because it is not forcing players to stand for the national anthem.

Jalen Ramsey and A.J. Bouye are an elite tandem statistically so far this year -
The Jacksonville Jaguars defense has been everything we hoped it would be this season, While the run defense is still a work in progress, the Jaguars rank in the top-10 in the league in total yards allowed per game, passing yards allowed per game, and points allowed per game. Jacksonville also leads the league in interceptions with 10 and sacks with 23.

The improved pass rush has certainly been a big reason for Jacksonville’s vast improvement, but the guys playing on the outside have been incredible. Jalen Ramsey and A.J. Bouye have been locking guys down all season.

New kicker Josh Lambo knew he’d get a second chance in the NFL -
After he was cut by the Los Angeles Chargers and throughout the five workouts he attended since he was released just before the season began, Josh Lambo believed he’d get another shot to kick in the NFL.

He’s young, had a proven resume, and believes he’ll become even better as he gains more experience, so he expected to land on an NFL roster at some point this season.
