Leonard Fournette says he won’t miss game against Indianapolis Colts - ESPN.com
Jacksonville Jaguars running back Leonard Fournette says he believes his sprained right ankle will not keep him out Sunday against Indianapolis, but said "it's up to my coaches if they're going to let me play or not."
Fournette said Thursday that he ran for the first time since he was injured late in the Jaguars' 27-17 loss to the Los Angeles Rams last Sunday. He's expected to do some change-of-direction work Friday to see if his ankle can handle the strain.
If it is up to Fournette, he'll be on the field against the Colts.
Jacksonville Jaguars offense needs to open up against Indianapolis Colts - BigCatCountry.com
Through six games this season, it’s safe to say the Jacksonville Jaguars offense has been one-dimensional and reliant on rookie running back Leonard Fournette. The problem with that is that it becomes exceedingly easier for teams to defend the Jaguars offense. Fournette had a 75-yard run on his first carry against the Los Angeles Rams, but after that run he had just 55 yards on 20 carries.
Cam Robinson gives Jacksonville Jaguars another impact rookie on offense - ESPN.com
Cam Robinson didn't like what he saw.
Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles had just been tackled by New York Jets defensive lineman Leonard Williams and linebacker Darron Lee after a 5-yard scramble, which was OK.
What wasn't okay with Robinson, however, was Williams taking his time getting off Bortles. That's why he rushed in and gave the Pro Bowl defensive tackle a small shove, which eventually led to the two barking at each other.
