Jaguars vs. Chargers: Week 10 sack analysis

The Jaguars’ offensive line was without several starters and struggled against a stout Chargers defensive line.

The Jacksonville Jaguars offensive line had one of its worst outings of 2017 against the Los Angeles Chargers. Without several starters against a stout Chargers defensive line that took away the run and forced 51 pass attempts by Blake Bortles, the offensive line allowed three sacks and nine hits on their quarterback.

Who was responsible for each sack? Let’s find out:

Sack #1: 1st and 10 at JAX 23, 3:44 in 1Q

Fullback Tommy Bohanon isn’t going to hold the block for long ever, but he’s got to do a better job than this.

Fault: Tommy Bohanon

Sack #2: 3rd and 8 at JAX 27, 14:14 in 3Q

Blake Bortles needed to get out of there and Marqise Lee didn’t have enough separation to get him the ball on the crossing route. Busted play.

Fault: Miscellaneous

Sack #3: 2nd and 11 at LAC 40, 9:06 in 3Q

This is pretty squarely on the shoulders of rookie left tackle Cam Robinson. I don’t see how anyone else is really at fault.

Fault: Cam Robinson
