The Jacksonville Jaguars will be keeping rookie wide receiver Dede Westbrook inactive for at least one more week. According to league rules, they had until 4pm EST today to activate him off the injured reserve list for him to play against the Cincinnati Bengals and they chose not to.

This means a couple of things. First, Marqise Lee is likely playing on Sunday even though he’s been officially listed as questionable. Second, it means Westbrook’s debut will likely be against former Jaguars head coach Gus Bradley who is now defensive coordinator of the Los Angeles Chargers and who is coming to Jacksonville next week.
Get better, Dede.
