Leonard Fournette apologizes for actions that led to benching during last Jacksonville Jaguars game - ESPN.com
Jaguars running back Leonard Fournette apologized Tuesday night on social media for his actions that led to him being deactivated for Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Fournette sent out two tweets around 7 p.m. ET in which he said he would be on time this weekend and that "one of the best and most difficult lessons you can learn in life is that no one owes you anything and you owe yourself everything ..."
Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Cincinnati Bengals: Blake Bortles, Chris Ivory lead drive of the game - BigCatCountry.com
The Jacksonville Jaguars have put together more impressive drives on offense and defense in the past two games than I’ve probably seen in the past five years combined. It seems there’s frequently a big play coming or some drive that takes up half a quarter with Blake Bortles converting multiple third downs with his arm (lol what) and I couldn’t be happier. This is a team built to win in the playoffs in cold weather environments.
One of the most impressive drives of the seasons (and honestly in recent memory) was this 15-play, 96 yard drive that took up just under eight minutes of the second quarter and extended the Jaguars’ lead to 10-0.
Aaron Colvin on Jacksonville Jaguars defensive coaches: “They do a good job of just letting us be who we are” - FirstCoastNews.com
The Jaguars' defense has been a nightmare for opposing offensive coordinators.
Rival quarterbacks have a 63.5-percent passer rating against Todd Wash's defense. The Jaguars lead the league with 35 sacks and are allowing just 156.4 passing yards per game.
It's a complete departure from last year's middling group.
